I would boil the cabbage first to get it cooked then drain the cabbage then add the cream of mushroom and let it simmer for about 15 minutes
Reply:shredd the cabbage and then cook the soup. Then you can make a salad out of the cabbage with tomatoes and crutons and other salad items. Then have the soup on the side. My mom makes this all the time it is really good.
Reply:Shred the cabbage and precook in salted water, until tender. Drain well and add to your prepared cream of mushroom soup, made with milk. Add a pinch of nutmeg and fresh ground pepper.

and make the soup to 1/2 the water usually used.

pour on top of cabbage and bake

take sesame seeds and flax seeds and grind and garnish top. serve hot.
