What do Socialists eat for dinner, steak and lobster or cabbage soup, and potatoes?

If they eat steak and lobster, then where is their government getting the money to feed them so well?

If they're eating cabbage soup, and potatoes, why can't they afford to eat better (richer, as it were)?



(My English friend can only eat prawns if he hunts for them himself, otherwise, he eats fried lettuce, and hamburgers.)

Socialism protects the upper classes. The more progressive taxes are, the harder it is for the middle class to join the ranks of the wealthy.



Face it, John Kerry doesn't want someone like you to be his neighbor, or join his golf club, or have your kids go to the same school he sends his kids.



Under socialism, the rich will always be rich and will always be dining on the finest lobster and foie gras. The minions who think socialism care about them eat cabbage and broth.

I remember seeing Svetlana and little Ivan standing in those long lines to receive their 'rations' during the Soviets glory years.
Reply:I don't know about socialists, but I'd prefer the steak and lobster. Problem is, we won't be able to afford food like that for long. Most people won't. After we take taxes out to pay for the war, it's likely to be cabbage soup.
