Did anybody ever try the cabbage soup diet? does it really work? if so, how much weight did you lose and how

long did it take you to lose the weight. i looked at the websites on how to make it but i want to know if it really works and how well it does if so. if anybody tried it, please tell me if it works and what you got out of it. thank you all in advance!

I tried it with a friend the first time and we both lost weight. I've used it several times over the years to get back in shape when I've kind of let myself go. It's an easy diet to lose 10 - 15 pounds, but it's usually quickly so you have to be careful to eat properly after coming off the diet. Don't stay on it more than 7 days at a time which is how long you're supposed to stay on it and be sure to eat exactly what you're supposed to on the diet or you'll be very hungry. I have to admit I felt very hungry for the first couple of days. Stomach shrinking?



There's a lot of stuff about this diet being new, but it's been around for years. I tried it the first time about 8 years ago.



There was one side-effect both my friend and I had from the diet that was rather unpleasant...diarrhea. Since the diet is more like a purging of impurities, I guess it works in more way than one.



This was also the same diet a friend of mine's Dad was put on before he had some tests run having to do with his heart. I don't know why, but it was the same diet.

Reply:MY MOTHER DID AND SHE LOVE IT SHE LOST ABOUT 35 LBS IN ABOUT 1 MONTH, SHE ATE FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER
Reply:just eat sensibly and exercise. do it gradually and you will be fine.
Reply:My boss did and in 2 weeks she lost 15lbs

ps what she got out of it was weight loss and the desire to never eat it again LOL
