What do you call the this side dish is made with cooked red cabbage and with apple?

My mother used to make it at the times for us as family. It is Germand tradition dish. Do you have a simple recipe of it? She passed away years ago.

Braised cabbage.

Put cabbage and apples in a fry pan, warm it up and add some cinnamon sticks, some apple cider vinegar with some salt and honey. Let it simmer until it gets syrupy.
