QUICK! How much of the cabbage to use, and how much do i throw away?

iM SMOTHERING SOME CABBAGE BUT I NEED TO KNOW IF i USE EVERYTHING ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE CORE...YOU KNOW HOW YOU DONT USE THE INSIDE OF LETTUCE? iS CABBAGE THE SAME WAY??? i NEED AN ANSWER QUICK..PLEASE, AND THANKS!

Usually you should remove the outer two or three leaves then cut the cabbage, and remove the white cor and eat the rest of the leaves
Reply:just remove the core...it's small.....and any discolored outer leaves
