I need some recipes for chineese cabbage?

Just tried to make kimchi last night. Came out great for a first try. I use it in place of cole slaw. Chop cabbage into bite size pieces(separated), thinly sliced carrot rounds, celery slices, cuke slices, red pepper flakes, Chinese vinegar, white wine vinegar, Tabasco, drop of sesame oil. Sorry I'm not more specific, I just threw it together. All the ingredients are inexpensive so give it a try. Little to loose.

CHINESE CABBAGE IN CREAM SAUCE

3 lbs. Chinese cabbage

2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. Accent

2 c. water

5 tbsp. butter

4 oz. pork sliced very thin, all fat removed

1 tbsp. sugar

5 tbsp. flour

1/2 c. milk

Cut Chinese cabbage into pieces approximately 2 inches square then put in a pot of boiling water and cook until soft. In a frying pan, heat 4 tablespoons oil and fry the pork, then add drained cabbage, salt, Accent, sugar, and water. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and drain the sauce off and save it. Melt the butter over low heat and add the flour, milk, and reserved sauce from the fried pork mixture. Mix well. In a baking pan, mix 2/3 of the cooked sauce mixture with the cabbage and fried pork. Put remaining sauce on top of casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Reply:Eggrolls....finely chop vegis, add egg(s), seasoning (oriental 5 spice and a little salt) mix well and place mixture into eggroll wraps (seal edges) and fry till golden brown.

Stirfry beef (finely sliced), add sliced cabbage, add ginger and onion, little water (to make gravy) and thicken with a little corn starch. Serve over rice.
Reply:One of my favorite ways of eating this is too simple. Cut off the bottom. Cut it into four from top to bottom. Julienne or shred with a knife. Toss with apple slices salt and pepper and Italian dressing. You can use Mandarin oranges instead of apples and make a simple Asian vinaigrette. Serve with Soba noodles and garnish with Chow Mein noodles for a crunch.
Reply:This is lovely when roughly shredded and added to a stir fir.

Don't cook for too long...it tastes nicer when crunchy!
