I know Humperdinks has some irish themed things on their menu, but I guess I am looking for more then that.
Any suggestions folks?
Thanks
Looking for a diner or mod priced restaurant for Corned Beef %26amp; Cabbage today?
I don't know about Plano, but in Frisco, there are two locally-owned Irish places that will have it today. One is behind Stonebriar mall in the same shopping center with Target, it is called the Irish Rover. Link: http://www.irishroverpub.com/
The other one is Lochrann's and is up the tollway...you take the Main Street exit and turn right on Main (by Pizza Hut Park), it will be on your right just across from the stadium. It is the better of the two and more upscale, in my opinion, but both would be good and are very convenient to the tollway. Link to it: http://www.lochranns.com/home
I'm making my own...pressure cooker is the best way to make it, as it just falls apart....mmmmmmm :)
Reply:The Fox %26amp; Hound would be the closest to you. Personally I would make the drive to Tipperary or Dubliner, both great places.
Fox %26amp; Hound

The Dubliner
2858 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas
(214) 818-0911
The Tipperary Inn

Trinity Hall

If you don't feel like fighting the drunken mobs than go to the Whole Foods Market in Plano and pick up your corned beef and cabbage to go.
Reply:Trinity Hall has some Irish dishes. They also serve queso though, so I'm not sure how authentic their cuisine is.
