Corned Beef and Cabbage?

What are the best seasonings to add to make a delicious corned beef and cabbage dish? And what is the best way to serve leftovers?

Serve the meat with American mustard. yummy. great for st. paddy's day! make a rueben sandwich with the left overs!

Reply:i always frys some fatback then keep the grease from the fatback take the cabbage and boil it and then steamed it in the skillet with fatback grease and cornbeef add just pinch of salt and pepper that makes me want to cook some
Reply:Some horse radish, mustard, vinegar and don't forget the brown sugar. Left overs are best served the next day just reheated. Yummy/
Reply:salt, pepper or seasonsalt or if u like hot food redpepper just a little the best way to serve leftovers is with some thing new like a veggie or fruit depends on what u have to start with
Reply:I just cut my cabbage up and fry in oil with some water till almost tender, then i add a can of corned beef and simmer a little while longer till the meat is heated. you can also dice a yellow hot banana pepper into the cabbage when cooking it. make a pan of cornbread and you have a meal.
