This is a question of the day question from my chem teacher.
What happens when you pour red cabbage juice on the white part of a fried egg?
Red Cabbage juice contains a substance that is known as a "universal indicator" meaning it has a different color depending on the pH of the solution its in. The white from an egg has a pH of about 8. At this pH, the extract from the cabbage will be violet-bluish. Ofcourse, you should probably actually DO the experiment, lest your teacher figures out you've cheated!
