If you freeze it, it will be soggy when thawed.

This is fine if you are planning on cooking the cabbage, but not if you want to make salad.
Reply:Make slaw out of it. Cut it real small or put in a food processor, add mayo, a little garlic sauce, a little white vinegar, chop up a tomato and mix. Easy and good and it really condenses the cabbage and the vinegar in it helps it to stay good for a week or more because it is a preservative.
Reply:Yes--if it has not started to wilt at all--but once u thaw it u will not be able to use it for salad--u will just be able to cook it
Reply:i would't
Reply:Yes you can! Just quarter it and freeze each quarter separately.
Reply:The best way to do it is to put it under vacuum in a vacuum food sealer, or it will get freezer burn.
Reply:You can, but it's really gross when you thaw it.
Reply:i think after you cook it!
Reply:what are u gonna do with a frozen cabbage then? not delicious anymore
Reply:Yes you can freeze cabbage, but you have to par-boil it for at least five minutes
