No longer than 5 days.

raw 3...cooked 5. But what are you cooking it in and holding it in? Vinegar? Italian dressing? Salty? These things can preserve your veggies a bit longer. I can tell you the best thing to do if you are unsure...say you just got back home from 4-5 days on the slope or the beach. Stir them a bit slowly with a spoon and if the sauce shows signs of bubbles ...dump. If there is no sauce...it will give a smell sooner than with sauce. If it smells exactly like whats in the container then you are good. If you are getting something wierd or are on the fence then throw it. Oxygen will age anything. Save your food by putting in bag and squeezing out air...all that you can. Covering in a bowl with lid is almost the same as leaving in a drawer in the bottom of the fridge.
Reply:Properly covered for five days.

It is best to cool cooked vegetables and then tightly cover them and place them in the coolest part of the refrigerator.

Lettuce mix is not a cooked vegetable that I know. However, lettuce mix - cold - is best kept loosely covered in a very cool part of the refrigerator.
Reply:probaby not even a day. once you start to cook vegetables certain percentage of vitamins are killed. worst enough the longer you keep those vegetables the more vitamins you are going to destroy (even keeping them in the fridge). so i suggest, prepare vegetables in a smaller portion, just enough for that time and eat it off soon.

try not to keep any leftovers in the fridge. in this way you are gaining the optimum benefits from the vegetables.
