I am looking for cabbage recipe that is a topping over rice.?

here is an awesome recipe that i love!!!

1 cabbage

1 cup cheese

1 can tomato soup

1 diced onion

salt and pepper

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup diced bacon



all you have to do is mix it all up together then add more cheese on top and bake in the oven for 30mins on about 180 degrees

you can put it ontop of your rice and it will make a really good meal!

Just boil the rice and chop the cabbage. I throw in some French fried onions, a dollop of French mustard, vinegar, white wine and butter or canola oil. Then I fry the cabbage up and serve it with the rice. Very good side dish. I like to serve kaiser buns with melted cheese and sauerkraut with this one. Stay away from the meats.

Reply:I have never put it over, but I like to cut fresh green cabbage and place it on the bottom of the plate before placing hot rice and stir fry on. It steams the cabbage just a little, but still has a crunch to it. Its really good with a stir fry made of basic kung pow sauce with chicken and cashews.
