yes it will keep for a few months
Reply:Yes, it freezes well. I put mine in Pringle's cans that I've sprayed wih cooking oil spray. It will keep about 3 months.

Good luck
Reply:Sure - the veggies won't be as crisp when you reheat it but it will stay just as tasty. It should last several months in the freezer if need be
Reply:yes, I do this all the time.

You need to let it cool in the fridge first, and then skim off any chicken fat on top before you freeze it (otherwise that will get rancid). It should keep for several months in a sealed container (I use the rubbermaid stuff)

Make sure to leave a little headspace - water expends as it freezes, and if you fill the containers all the way the tops will push off.
Reply:everything in there except maybe for the cabbage is good to freeze. as long as you dont put potatoes in the freezer you should be good. you can freeze if you pack it well for at least 3 months.
Reply:Yes-6 months if packaged appropriately.
Reply:yes you can keep in the freezer up to two weeks
Reply:Sure you can. Veggies can last awhile frozen. I suggest that thing that sucks all the air out... Ugh the food saver I think its called it allows you to freeze it longer but if you dont have one of those then just take a straw and close the bag and suck it out like that. I should work... Hmm I imagine you can keep it frozen for several months I wouldn't wait a year though!
Reply:It really depends on what vegetable you have in your soup. If you have added rice or pasta then you should not freeze it. The pasta will get pasty and the starches will come out. If you used rice it will absorb all of the liquid and also become pasty.

Most of all of the garden vegetables, carrots, celery,. potatoe, tomatoes, beans, corn, peas squash, ect will be fine if frozen.

What I sometimes do is because I make it in large quantities, I add the rice or pasta on the day I am cooking the leftovers and then add them seperatly at the table. Discard leftover pasta or rice.

Hope this helps you out.

Good luck cooking.
Reply:yes why not so you can eat it next 3 days or a month after its frozen so its preserved
