INGREDIENTS:
* 1/4 cup butter
* 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
* 1 medium head cabbage, coarsely shredded
* 1/4 cup chopped onion
* 3 tablespoons vinegar
* 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
PREPARATION:
Directions for Skillet Cabbage
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter; add seasoned salt, cabbage, and onion. Cook, covered, over medium heat for 15 minutes. Stir frequently. Blend vinegar and sugar; add to cabbage mixture.
Stir gently to blend; cook cabbage 5 minutes longer.

Brown some bacon. Pour in water (fill pan 1/2 full) and bring to a boil. Remove the core and cut cabbage in wedges. Place in boiling water. Cook until tender. Remove some of the water and add 3-4 teaspoons (more if you like) season with salt, pepper and season salt (if desired) to taste. This goes really well with fried chicken.

Reply:get a good size cabbage chop it up.then get a nice size boiler and put about 4cups of water and a stick of butter and salt and pepper to taste .then put the cabbage in let it simmer until the cabbage is tender.then chop up some sausage any kind of your choice.fry or boil until cooked then once cabbage is tender add sausage.

This is made using Chinese cabbage/wombok but it works well with any type of cabbage. You can cook the chicken breast yourself or just use the same amount of cooked bbq chicken.
1 cooked chicken breast
handful of Chinese cabbage
handful of bean sprouts
as much mint as you like
mix all together and dress with the following
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 chopped chili
1/4 red onion or a french shallot
clove of garlic
