Does anyone have a great recipe for the cabbage salsa that they servein Mexican restaurants??

Locally the Mexican restaurants call that salsa "pico de gallo".

Here's my take on the recipe...

4 Roma Tomatoes, seeded and chopped.

1/4 cup Onion chopped

1/2 pepper (jalapeno), seeded and chopped

1 Tablespoon of Cilantro, chopped

1/2 cup cabbage, chopped.

1 clove of garlic, mashed into little bits

1 Lime

Salt

Mix all the ingredients together... Add lime juice and salt to taste. Make salsa ahead of time so flavors can blend.

not sure of the cabbage salsa your asking for...and pico de gallo is diff.. and does not have cabbage in it.

Pico de gallo is only onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and pepper, lime juice, and salt. All all copped.. mix.. squeeze lime juice and salt it to taste! :P
