If i add red cabbage juice now purple in color to some household products what changes in color changes will?
LOL! I just finish doing this Lab, and discussing it with my professor.
The thing is that red cabbage juice doesn't have set colors as red or blue like the litmus paper. So, you need to take into consideration that each household color will have their own color. It also depends if you pour the same amount of household product in each tube.
Vinegar- magenta
baking soda- green
lemon juice- pink lemonade
soda water- pink
drain cleaner- yellow
detergent- purple
baking soda- blue.
With this you probably recorded the pH in each solution, and did the litmus paper test (which this is the one that really turn blue or red). You are suppose to compare the litmus answers with the pH answer, and from there you get the pattern for the red cabbage juice.

I just found this website above that can help you a lot to understand more about red juice cabbage.
Reply:vinegar=red
baking soda=blue
water, should be neutral bit is probably slightly basic so blueish
ammonia=blue
milk=blue
detergent=blue
shampoo if pH balanced should be purple
clear soda=red(carbonic acid from the CO2 bubbles)
Reply:Just remember the golden rule.
Blue to red, aced (Acid)
Red to blue, alkaloo! (Alkali or base)
